GAME PLAY FORMAT

• Soccer – Rec-style, Tournament style for older divisions only

• Basketball – Tournament style (beginner to advanced), rec-style for younger divisions
• Baseball/Softball – Rec style (beginner – intermediate)

• Sample practices and playbooks are available to all coaches

• Coaches are parent volunteers - Practice times and locations are arranged at the coach’s discretion. 
• Practices are generally held outside during the weekday evenings.
• *AZYS does not provide teams with practice locations and players are required to supply their own ball; i.e., soccer ball, volleyball, basketball etc...

Your registration fee includes your team shirt for all sports and a hat for baseball

Team Shirts are provided to all players.
Hats are provided to Baseball/Softball only.
Please view the rules for the appropriate sized ball needed for your player.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED BY PARENTS

• Soccer – shin guards, athletic shorts and shoes, soccer ball.
  • Cleats and soccer socks are optional.
• Flag Football – mouthguard required, athletic pants/shorts and shoes, football.
  • Cleats are optional.
• Volleyball – knee pads, athletic shorts and shoes, volleyball.
• Basketball – mouthguard recommended, athletic shorts and shoes, basketball.
• Baseball – Athletic pants/shorts and shoes, glove, batting helmet.
  • Bat and balls are optional
• Girls Softball – Athletic pants/shorts and shoes, glove, batting helmet.
  • Bat and balls are optional
