LOCATION POLICIES:

  • ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY
    • Only Service Dogs with vests are allowed
  • No Food or Drink in the gymnasiums
  • No Smoking/Vaping on school property
  • All players MUST be in AZYS team shirt
  • All players must be registered players

 

RECREATIONAL LEAGUE POLICIES:

  • This a recreational youth sports league that uses parent-volunteers as coaches, although most teams will have coaches when rosters are sent out, some may not and a parent will need to step up to coach.
  • Practice times may not be convenient and parents may need to adjust their schedules to make practice times work. Practice locations must be acquired by each team and that the league does not provide practice facilities.
  • Registering multiple children or for multiple sports  does  practices may conflict and games may conflict.
  • Players are required to wear their league assigned team shirt for the current season, or they will not be allowed to play on game days. The game may result in a forfeit if a player on the team is unregistered.
  • A new jersey can be purchased if jersey if lost or damaged. 
  • Team may have travel games or repeat opponents.
  • Games may be cancelled due to weather. Games are made up if possible.

REFUND POLICY

  • Once rosters have been released there are NO REFUNDS, for any reason.
  • Refund requests MUST be submitted in writing to the league and processing fees are non-refundable.
  • Credit requests MUST be submitted in writing to the league.

CHILD SAFETY POLICY

  • Parents on the team, must ensure that the coach is never left alone to tend the kids on the team during practices.  There must be at least one other parent at each practice.
  • Sports injuries may happen and that they can be a part of active sports participation.
  • If a child is physically harming other children in practices or games, I must address this with my coach and report this to the league.
  • Registration and game attendance grants permission for the registrant's image to be used in promotional materials or on the website.

PARENT AGREEMENT

  • Parents must not engage in negative side talk about the coach or players on the team, maintain positivity during games and practices.
  • Do not engage in harassing or intimidating behavior or yelling at the referees, opposing coaches or players.
  • This league is intended for the kids to compete for a common goal and enjoy doing it!
  • School policies must be adhered to during the games; ie, no dogs on school property, no smoking/vaping on school property, no alcohol on school property, no food/drinks in the gym...etc
  • Disrespectful behavior towards other coaches, players, parents and our referees & staff will not be tolerated and team or player will be terminated without refund.
  • Players are required to wear their league assigned team shirt for the current season, or they will not be allowed to play on game days.
