AZYS Covid-19 Policies
MANDATORY COVID-19 Guidelines: Opinions aside, we must follow these guidelines in order to keep our facilities and allow the kids to play this season.
In order to adhere to COVID restrictions we are enforcing the following guidelines. We ask that you please comply in order to create as safe of an environment as possible for our players, their families, as well as our staff.
Games will be stopped, clock still running, until players or spectators are in compliance.
Any spectator or mask violation that is not immediately corrected upon being asked will result in removal from the team for the remainder of the season.
1. In order to not exceed the maximum number of people allowed, there is a two-spectator-per-player policy established by the school district for all games at all locations. Siblings and additional children are welcome to attend along with the 2 spectators.
2. Masks are required indoors. Parents and coaches must wear masks while they are inside the gym. Referees (including coach referees) and players will not be required to wear masks during the game.
3. Teams from the previous games must exit and clear the gym before the next teams can enter.
4. Parents must practice as much social distancing as possible while on the sidelines.
5. All players must sanitize their hands before the game. The referees will have a bottle of hand sanitizer available for use. Sanitizer will also be available at the information table.
6. Games balls will be sanitized before each game.
7. After games snacks are always optional - pre-packaged foods and drinks are recommended.
8. Please avoid parent tunnels and after game handshakes in lieu of ‘clapping lines’ and ‘fist bumps’.
9. IF you are sick and/or experiencing any COVID symptoms, PLEASE STAY HOME!
